Impact Technology provides accredited calibration services for a variety of instrumented tups. This work is a
cooperative effort between United Calibration Corporation ( IAS accredited laboratory) and Impact
Technology. Contact Us regarding a
quotation for tup calibration.

The calibration is for longitudinal axial load application to the instrumented tup.
A reference load is applied to the tup and the output value of millivolts
per volts (mV/V) is recorded. A series of reference load and output value pairs are obtained over a load
range of 5 to 100 percent of tup capacity. Statistical regression techniques are used to determine the best linear fit
to the resultant data. A precision resistor is shunted across the tup strain gauge circuit and the
tup output value of mV/V is recorded.

The calibration testing is performed by United Calibration Corporation
with the Impact Technology procedure for application of reference load
and tup output recording. The certificate of calibration report for the resultant data,
includes shunt tup output and tup excitation voltage. United Calibration Corporation has demonstrated compliance
with ANS/ISO/IEC Standard 17025:2005 "General Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration
Laboratories". Reference unitedcalibration.com.

Impact Technology performs the statistical evaluation of the data contained in the
certificate of calibration report and
prepares a calibration summary report for each tup. This report presents
tabulated and graphical data for tup output (mV/V) as a function of applied reference load
(kN). The tup shunt output value is used to determine the
Dynatup® Calibration Factor in force
units.
